Setting audience user group in MOSS 2007

I spent some time to find out why my AD groups do not appear while add a user rule in my new audience. Finally i found that we have to start a full import user profile to solve this problem. After import profile done, wait for few seconds….Why? You cannot get the group immediately. I guess MOSS may take some time to process and propagate to shared services… So just wait a moment and you will get it right away… =)

I performed a full-profile import but still can’t use the AD groups in the Member Of field when adding the Audience Rule.
Any clue on this?

Sorry, I do not have any other clue except above. But you can try to delete all the imported profiles, reset iis. Then start full-profile import again, wait for 5 mins. Hopefully you can see your AD group. This problem seems related to your AD rather then sharepoint it self. Good luck

I have the same problem as remandlo. I tried doing a full import again and waited, but still no luck.
