I come across some problems setting the page height which render in web browser. The “Report Properties”-> “Page height” setting never works. It only works when you export the report to pdf or image file. So the report height in browser is never change. I found a stupid way, but it works. Do open the report.rdl file with notepad and change “<InteractiveHeight>11in</InteractiveHeight>” accordingly. By default it always set to 11 inc. I cannot find anywhere in the visual studio editor to change this. So, here is the solution for me. For those who know where to set it in visual studio editor, please feel free to comment and let me know. Thank you in advance!

  1. Nick Chen Says:

In the Layout mode, bring up Properties panel. Click on the black-square box at the top-left corner to display properties for Report. You will then find “Interactive Size” that includes Interactive Height property.

Go to the Report Properties and there are all the properties such as InteractiveSize and AutoRefresh timings.

I had reporting services set up on another site and we didn’t have to have anything special for a web page to not show page breaks. I see all of these posts for interactivesize but there is no such animal on the report properties of my reports and I am using RS2 2005 sp2. Any other suggestions?

Bruce, the property window has a drop down list at the top which shows the object name, find and select ‘Report’ and you will see the interactivesize property. good luck Andy
